This is a subtitle for your new post
Hello to everyone from all of us at the Licking senior center. I trust that you had a good week.
Always remember, that God doesn’t give us what we can handle, God helps us handle, what we are given.
We had a very big week at the center, running out of food, three out of five days is good for us, but our mission is to be able to feed everyone that walks through the door. So this week, we will be making extra food, so that what matter the time you come, hopefully we will have food. Sorry for the inconvenience. Lunch is served from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm. The dining room is open for all to enjoy.
Volunteers are very crucial in the operation of the senior center. Why don’t you make that call today and say you can volunteer for a couple of hours a week. Albert Einstein once said, Only a life lived for others, is worth living. Call Cindy at 573-675-3558.
Following church on Sunday morning, Little Johnny announces to his mother, "Mommy, I've decided that I'm going to be a minister when I grow up!"
"That's fantastic, Johnny," she says, "but what made you decide to become a minister?"
"Well," Little Johnny replies, "I'm forced to go to church every Sunday anyway... so I figured it might be more fun to stand up and shout than to sit down and listen."
Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
