This is a subtitle for your new post
Hello everyone from all of us at the Licking Senior Center. I trust everyone had a great week.
We’re still going strong, even though we are trying to take all the extra precautions needed to keep that nasty virus away.
We really need a delivery person on Thursday to ride along and carry meals to the businesses and or homes. About an hour and a half, one day a week is all we need.
If you would be interested in a paid job in the kitchen. Please call 573-674-3558.
Volunteers, without them, we can’t go on. Please if you can give any time at all, please call me at 573-674-3558.
Donations are always welcome to our center. We had several in the past couple of weeks, one coming from Arkansas with a $100.00 worth of paper towels. There are folks that are very grateful and dedicated to this nice organization and we appreciate what you can do, anytime.
I still haven’t heard from the toenail lady. I’m sure when she gets well, she will call.
Prayers for Don Lotz, as he is having muscle spasms, and worried about his wife Dorothy.
Also Eugene Maxey is needing prayer for strength.
Prayers for Cindy for strength trying to recover from Bell’s palsy.
Come see us about buying your tickets for the chicken dinner and entertainment on October 10th.
A German Shepherd, Doberman and a cat have died.
All three are faced with God who wants to know what they believe in.
The German shepherd says: "I believe in discipline training and loyalty to my master."
"Good," says God. "Then sit down on my right side. Doberman, what do you believe in?"
The Doberman answers: "I believe in the love, care and protection of my master."
Ah," said God. "You may sit to my left."
Then he looks at the cat and asks, "And what do you believe in?"
The cat answers: "I believe you're sitting in my seat."
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
