Hello to everyone from all of us at the Licking Senior Center. I trust everyone had a great week. After all, it’s been so cold outside, you may have to open the fridge to heat the house.
We’re actually having a ball, seeing the folks coming back into the dining room to eat. Just listening to them and tell their stories, tells it all. I absolutely love this.
Been even see a lot of new people walk through the door. Just know, everyone is welcome at the senior center, no matter what your age is.
Lunch is served from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm. Come on over and pull up a chair and enjoy the company of others, while enjoying a great meal.
I’m going to acknowledge some volunteers, who actually has their own business. Mark Lavely, runs 63 Liquor, he takes time out of his busy schedule once a week, to peel potatoes for Thursday’s meal. He is a very dependable volunteer, and has been doing this for over a year now. Thank you Mark for supporting your center.
Volunteers are needed to deliver meals and work in the kitchen. Folks, all I need is about 3 hours of your time once a week. This will do your heart good, to help some else. Call Cindy at 573-674-3558.
