This is a subtitle for your new post
Hello to everyone from all of us at the Licking Senior Center. I trust you all had a great week.
We had another busy week at the center, but that’s what we want is to be busy. Serving a little over a 100 a day is great. Just know that everyone is welcome to come to our center, even if you’re one, but don’t come by yourself.
Lunch is served from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm Monday through Friday. Our dining room is open and carry outs are available.
Volunteers are needed to deliver meals and for kitchen help. If you are able to give a few hours a week, please call Cindy at 573-674-3558.
Texas County Transit has a van ready for your next transportation trip. Please call 573-674-3558 at least 24 hours in advance. Or, you can look us up on the web at texascountytransit.com.
Little Johnny's mother was trying hard to get the ketchup to come out of the bottle. During her struggle, the phone rang so she asked four-year-old Johnny to answer the phone.
Little Johnny ran out into the living room and answered the phone. "Mommy, it's the minister," he said to his mother.
From the kitchen, Johnny's mom said, "Tell him I'll call him back."
Little Johnny spoke into the phone saying, "Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. She's hitting the bottle."
